First Baptist Kingfisher and Coronavirus

We respond with faith and not fear. Psalm 56:3 says When I am afraid I will put my trust in you. God is still in control.

We respond with wisdom to crisis and not panic. We will take the following steps to protect people during this crisis: We will practice safety precautions and everyday preventive actions as we see outlined from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO). Beginning now, we encourage people to limit physical contact. At this point our goal is to establish habits that will reduce everyone’s risk.

As of right now, we are transitioning from public gatherings to online streaming only until further notice. During this time we will make use of all online resources to continue to provide you with spiritual growth opportunities. If you have not done so please follow us now on Facebook and Twitter.  This adjustment to online streaming will be evaluated on a weekly basis until we are satisfied that it is safe for all to attend together in a public forum.

We respond with compassion and not apathy. Any crisis provides the opportunity to minister to people with compassion and share Jesus with confidence. We want to maximize the ministry opportunity God has given us.
